12 Axes Vercel App vs This 12 Axes Test
This is an independent site. It is not affiliated with 12axes.vercel.app or with politicaltests.github.io/12axes, and it is not the original test. It is a separate 12 axes test with 36, 60 or 288 statements, built on the open-source 12axes question bank.

What the other two 12-axis tests are
According to the Vercel project README, checked 18 October 2026, 12axes.vercel.app offers English and Portuguese and labels its question versions 36, 60 and 240. The README also lists country, historical regime and figure matches, plus a PDF. These are its project descriptions, not a live product test.
The original politicaltests.github.io/12axes code, checked 18 October 2026, offers a 60-question short test and a 288-question full test (24 per axis). Its result shows twelve scores and a closest ideology. It is based on 9axes and published under the MIT licence.

What this site is
12 Axes Test is a separate site. Its statements come from the open-source 12axes question bank (MIT licence), and the design of the result, the matches and the translations into Portuguese, Spanish, German and French are our own work. It has no connection with the people who run the sites above, and we do not show or copy anyone's results.
How this site differs
You can take a quick version of 36 statements, a standard one of 60 or the full 288, in English, Portuguese, Spanish, German or French. Free test scoring happens in your browser; ordering a Dossier sends the answers needed to produce it, as explained in Privacy.
The result names the closest of 38 ideologies, plus the closest of 53 historical states, 124 figures and 195 countries. Compared with the original GitHub test, this site adds those three matches. The Vercel project README also lists them, so they are not exclusive to this site.
The original GitHub test compares diplomacy on the trade axis (Isolationism–Globalism); this site uses Internationalism–Nationalism for its ideology match. Question sets, answer scales and methods differ across the three implementations, so scores are not directly interchangeable.

Questions
Is this the 12axes Vercel app?
No. 12axes.vercel.app is a different site, made by other people. 12 Axes Test is an independent site and is not affiliated with it.
Is this affiliated with politicaltests.github.io/12axes?
No. That is an open-source test with its own code. This site uses the open-source 12axes question bank under its MIT licence, and everything else on it is built separately.
Will I get the same result here as on another 12 axes test?
Not necessarily. Question sets, answer options and scoring methods can differ between implementations. Compare each axis with its method in mind; the same number need not come from the same answers.
Does this site use the same questions as the original?
Its statements come from the open-source 12axes question bank, which is published under the MIT licence. The Portuguese, Spanish, German and French texts are our own translations.
